Terms of Use

Vitalis is a digital health technology platform operated by Hippocrates Digital Ltd trading as TeqDr ("we", "us", "our"). TeqDr is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a healthcare provider. Vitalis itself is not CQC-registered; it is a technology platform and is not regulated by the CQC.

By creating an account or logging in to Vitalis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Vitalis platform, including the website, web application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

VITALIS IS A TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM. IT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER, OR A CLINICAL SERVICE.

The AI-powered analysis, health insights, vital sign tracking, and any other content provided through Vitalis are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• A clinical consultation
• A substitute for professional medical care

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health or medical decisions. Do not disregard, delay, or avoid seeking professional medical advice because of anything you read or receive through Vitalis.

In a medical emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency services immediately. Do not use Vitalis to seek emergency assistance.

Where a doctor review is purchased through the platform, that review is conducted by an independent clinician. Vitalis facilitates access to that clinician but is not responsible for the clinical judgement exercised.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Vitalis. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the Service to persons under 18.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using Vitalis on behalf of someone else, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

To use most features of Vitalis you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information when registering
• Keeping your account credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at support@teqdr.com if you suspect unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we consider harmful to the platform or other users.

You may use Vitalis only for lawful, personal health management purposes. You agree not to:

• Upload content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Attempt to access another user's data without authorisation
• Use the platform to harass, harm, or discriminate against any person
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive software
• Circumvent any security or access-control measures

When you upload health reports, log vital signs, or use AI-powered features, you grant us a limited licence to process that data for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

AI analysis results are generated by third-party AI models and are subject to limitations in accuracy. You acknowledge that:

• AI analysis is not infallible and may contain errors
• Results should always be considered alongside professional medical advice
• The AI does not have access to your full medical history unless you provide it
• Confidence scores are indicative and not guarantees of accuracy

We do not use your identifiable health data to train AI models. Aggregated and anonymised data may be used to improve our platform.

Vitalis facilitates access to doctor reviews as a paid service. By purchasing a doctor review:

• You acknowledge that the reviewing clinician is an independent professional, not an employee of TeqDr or Vitalis
• You understand the review is based solely on the information you provide
• You agree not to treat a written review as emergency medical care
• Refunds for completed consultations are at the clinician's discretion

Payment is processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Vitalis offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise stated). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase.

All content, design, code, trademarks, and technology on the Vitalis platform are owned by or licensed to Hippocrates Digital Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service.

You retain ownership of the health data and documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and display that content to deliver the Service.

Vitalis may integrate with third-party services (e.g. Fitbit, Google Fit, Apple Health). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or conduct of third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@teqdr.com. We will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Vitalis after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
